NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An attacker randomly punched a 65-year-old woman as she sat at a bus stop in the Bronx on Saturday, the NYPD said.
The woman was sitting at a stop on Boston Road, at East 174th Street near Crotona Park, around 10 a.m. on Saturday when a male of an unknown age approached her and punched her in the face, police said.
The attacker fled the scene on foot, the NYPD said. The woman's left eye was red and in pain after the assault, but she refused medical attention, the department said.
