NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a woman as she entered her Brooklyn apartment building.
The 29-year-old victim entered her apartment building near the intersection of Third Avenue and Eighth Street in Gowanus around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, according to officials.
The attacker followed her inside and reached under her skirt to grope her before fleeing, authorities said.
The victim was brought to NYC Health & Hospitals/Kings County.
The NYPD Special Victims Unit is investigating, and law enforcement has not yet made any arrests.
