NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is investigating the death of an 11-year-old boy who was found unconscious at a Bronx school library Wednesday afternoon.
Police received a 911 call at about 4:14 p.m. about an unconscious boy in the school library at Icahn Charter School 6 Middle School on Mansion Street in Van Nest.
The boy was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi where he was pronounced dead.
The child's death does not appear to be suspicious, cops said.
Authorities are awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause of death.
