NEW YORK(1010 WINS) -- Police on Tuesday released a photo of a trio of suspects sought for beating and robbing a teen boy of his sneakers on a Brooklyn street last week.
At approximately 3:14 p.m. Friday, three suspects approached a 13-year-old boy in the vicinity of 17th Street and Fourth Avenue in South Slope.
According to officials, the suspects struck the victim with belts numerous times then stole his sneakers.
The suspects fled into Prospect Avenue train station and got on a northbound R train, police said.
The victim refused medical attention.
