NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are investigating the death of a 13-year-old boy who hanged himself in his Brooklyn home this week, police told 1010 WINS.
Police are investigating his death as a suicide.
At around 7:20 p.m. on Monday, the teen boy was discovered hanging from an unknown object inside the home located at 190 Coffey Street in Red Hook, officials said.
He was taken to Methodist Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, the NYPD said.
The boy left behind a note that said, "Goodbye I love you guys so much but life to hard, I don't blame any of you guys. Don't let the school do an assembly about this," sources told the New York Post.
