NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is investigating the sexual assault of a 13-year-old boy at a Bronx NYCHA housing complex late Wednesday night.
It happened around 11:45 p.m. at the Sotomayer Houses near Taylor and Story avenues in Soundview, officials said.
According to police, the teen was approached by an unknown man then pulled into a stairwell, sexually attacked, and robbed of his cellphone.
The boy was throwing out trash at the time of the attack, PIX11 reported.
He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi for evaluation.
There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
