NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A 14-year-old boy was charged in connection with a shooting at a Bronx subway station that left a bystander dead and five others wounded last month, the NYPD said Friday.
The teen is facing four counts of attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
Police charged and arrested another suspect, a 16-year old, last month.
According to officials, an argument between two groups of teens around 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 12 led to the shooting which happened as the doors to the Mount Eden Avenue uptown 4 train station opened.
A 35-year-old man, identified as Obed Beltran-Sanchez, was shot and killed, according to police, who said he was a bystander.
A 14-year-old girl, a 15-year-old boy and three adults, ages 28, 29 and 71 were also wounded in the shooting.
Some of the victims were believed to have been involved in the dispute and others were bystanders waiting for the train, police said, describing four of the injuries as serious.
