NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 14-year-old boy died by falling between subway cars in the Bronx on Friday night, according to police.

The teen slipped under a northbound 5 train near the East 180th Street station around 7:53 p.m., officials said.

Emergency responders pronounced the boy dead at the scene.

On Monday, a 15-year-old boy was killed while subway surfing on the Williamsburg bridge.

The teen was standing on the roof of a northbound J train around 6:45 p.m. when he hit his head on a fixture of the bridge.

The impact caused him to fall beneath the train, killing him, according to authorities.

It’s not yet clear if the boy who was killed Friday night was subway surfing or just moving between cars. Police do not suspect any criminality on the part of others.
