NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 14-year-old boy was shot in the leg while at Prospect Park in Brooklyn Monday night, authorities said.

The teen transported himself to Kings County Hospital to be treated for the gunshot wound to his right leg where authorities questioned him about the incident, police said.
The boy was reluctant to give details about shooting other than he heard gunshots fired and was then struck around 7:40 p.m. at Ocean Avenue Drive and East Lake Drive, according to officials.
His injuries were non-life-threatening, the NYPD added. The investigation remains ongoing.
