NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD launched an investigation after a teen boy was stabbed in the stomach late Monday night in Queens, authorities said.
It happened at around 11:45 p.m. at 20th Avenue and 49th Street in Astoria.
According to officials, a 14-year-old boy was stabbed once in the stomach following a dispute that escalated.
The boy was transported to Mount Sinai Queens by private means in stable condition
Police are searching for two males who fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The first suspect was described as wearing a yellow sweater and white sneakers. The second suspect wore a red sweater, black pants and black sneakers, authorities said.
The investigation is ongoing.
