NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for the hit-and-run driver after a 3-year-old boy was struck and killed Wednesday night in Queens.
It occurred in front of 41-04 College Point Boulevard near 41st Avenue in Flushing, authorities said.
According to officials, the driver of a white, four-door sedan was pulling out of a parking lot when they struck the child crossing in the middle of the street.
The boy was rushed to New York-Presbyterian Queens, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver did not remain on the scene and police found the sedan four blocks away.
