NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 12-year-old boy was struck and injured by a hit-and-run driver in Brooklyn on Monday morning, police said.
The driver hit the boy at 8:40 a.m. as he was in a crosswalk at Wilson Avenue and Bleecker Street in Bushwick.
Police said the black or gray Chevy struck the boy's leg as the driver was making a left turn onto Bleecker.
The boy was transported to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center with minor leg injuries, according to police and the FDNY.
The driver left the scene of the crash and was still being sought later Monday morning, police said.
