NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man was arrested on Monday after a father and his daughter were found fatally stabbed inside their Brooklyn apartment on Sunday, police said.
Police responded to a 911 call at around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday for two injured people inside an apartment at 186 Warwick St. in Cypress Hills.
Upon arrival, officers found Roosevelt Simmons, 91, and his daughter Jacqueline Delyons, 66, lying on the kitchen floor with slash wounds on their necks.
EMS responded and pronounced both dead on scene.
Kerry Lewis, 46, of Brooklyn was arrested and charged with two counts of murder and possession of a weapon, cops said.
Lewis was Delyons' boyfriend, police said.
An investigation is ongoing.
