Bronx burglar breaks into fried chicken joint, swipes $2.4K – and a bag of chicken

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A burglar broke into a Bronx fried chicken restaurant and stole thousands of dollars in cash and a bag of chicken, police said Wednesday.

The man broke the front gate to get into Kennedy Fried Chicken at 220 East 170th St. in the Grand Concourse around 2:30 a.m. on April 16.

He flew the coop after snatching the chicken and $2,400 from the register, cops said.

Police on Wednesday released a surveillance image of the suspect.
