NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection to a Bronx check-cashing business robbery on Saturday.
The man went into the checking-cashing store at 1034 Ogden Avenue just before 3 p.m. with a firearm and demanded property from a 22-year-old employee, police said.
The suspect fled the store with an undetermined amount of cash, according to the NYPD.
Chief Operating Officer for CFSC Check Cashing Larry Liskiewicz told 1010 WINS the suspect did not obtain any cash from the store.
No injuries were reported, authorities said.
Surveillance video captured images of the man who is described as being in his 20s or 30s, last seen wearing a gray hoodie and red vest.
