NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A Bronx fruit vendor was beaten and robbed by a group of teens, police said Friday as they released images of the suspects.

The 54-year-old victim was working at a fruit stand on the northeast corner of East 149th Street and Anthony J. Griffin Place in Mott Haven on the afternoon of May 28 when he was targeted by three males and a female, according to police.

One of the teens asked for a mango from the vendor, but when the seller took out his wallet to make change, the three other teens punched him in the face and body, police said.

The victim suffered a bloody nose and bruising across his body. EMS transported him to Lincoln Hospital, where he was treated and released.
