NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A group of men attacked a driver and stole his car in broad daylight in the Bronx last week, police said Sunday as they released video of the suspects.
The 27-year-old man was stopped at a red light in his 2017 Nissan sedan in the 42nd Precinct around 4:30 p.m. on Monday when the group of four men approached his vehicle, according to police, who didn't give an exact location.
The men started smacking the driver's side mirror. When the driver got out of his vehicle to check if there was any damage, one of the men ran after him and punched him repeatedly to the ground, police said.

Another man then hopped in the victim's car and drove off, according to police.
The victim refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
The Nissan was later recovered at 611 E. 161st St. in the Melrose section. The victim's cellphone and two Gucci bags worth $31,800 were still in the vehicle when it was found, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
