NEW YORK (1010 WINS/ WCBS 880 NEWS) – A child called 911 on Monday after her mother suddenly collapsed inside their Brooklyn apartment, police said.
Officers received the call around noon about an unconscious woman, 46, at 630 Kingsborough Ave. 6th Walk, near Ralph Ave. in Crown Heights.
The caller was a 6-year-old girl, according to reports by the Daily News.
The deceased woman, later identified as the mother, was found unresponsive in her apartment, police said.
Despite paramedics' efforts, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
