
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A Friday night shooting in Brooklyn left one dead and one injured, authorities said.

Just after 10 p.m., police responded to calls of a shots fired around Stanley Ave. and Crescent Street in East New York.
When officers arrived, they found a 37-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his chest and groin area and another man with gunshot wounds to his face and chest.
Both were taken to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center where the 37-year-old is in stable condition while the other unidentified victim was pronounced dead.
Cops took the surviving victim into custody on weapons charges with additional charges pending.
The investigation remains ongoing.
