NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — The NYPD is searching for four suspects in connection to a Brooklyn shooting early Tuesday that sent two men to the hospital.

Four suspects exited a gray four-door sedan near Washington Avenue and Sterling Place in Crown Heights just after 3 a.m. on Tuesday when police say they pulled out guns and fired off multiple shots.

A 61-year-old man was hit in the torso and another man, 36, was hit in the right leg. They were both standing in front of 787 Washington Ave., but it was not immediately clear if the men knew one another.

The older victim was taken by EMS to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, while the 36-year-old was privately transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Authorities said that both victims are in stable condition.

The suspects fled the scene in the gray sedan traveling eastbound on St. Johns Place toward Classon Avenue, police said.

Police released surveillance video of the gray sedan stopping in the middle of a street, the four suspects leaving the car running and all the doors open as they run out of frame, only to sprint back seconds later and drive off.

The four suspects were last seen wearing a combination of black, gray and white hoodies, pants and sneakers.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
