
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- An MTA bus driver was stabbed and injured by a passenger aboard a bus in Brooklyn on Monday, police said Wednesday as they released video of his suspected attacker.
The 42-year-old victim was driving a B82 bus at Bay 37th Street and Cropsey Avenue in Gravesend at 2 p.m. when a passenger got into an argument with him about something.
The passenger, described as a man about 30 years old, whipped out a sharp object during the dispute and stabbed the driver in the left hand, police said.
The assailant fled the bus and took off on 24th Avenue on foot.
The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health in stable condition.
