NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A motorist in the Bronx hit and killed a cyclist Sunday while driving with a baby in the car and proceeded to steal a different vehicle to flee, according to police.
The perpetrator brought the baby with them when they fled in the stolen car, officials said.
The incident happened near the intersection of Metcalf Avenue and East 172nd Street in Soundview, according to authorities.
Emergency responders rushed the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where the cyclist was pronounced dead.
It was first reported around 3:15 p.m., but police have not yet confirmed the time of the actual incident.
