Junior’s Restaurant, best known for their iconic New York-style cheesecake, is taking a 5-borough tour offering $5 slices, a full spread of delicious toppings like macaroon crunch, strawberry sauce, chocolate sauce, rainbow sprinkles, chocolate chips and more, the eatery announced Tuesday.

Customers can also try their luck by spinning the truck’s “Wheel of Cheesecake” for a chance to win prizes including free slices, t-shirts, temporary tattoos and hats.

“From the Financial District to the beach, we’re going to give New Yorkers an unforgettable weekend. As Marie Antionette might have said, ‘let them eat cheesecake!,’” said Alan Rosen, third-generation owner of Junior’s.

The tour will begin on Friday, July 29, at Smorgasburg World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. From there, it will go to Long Island City Queens until 4 p.m. On Saturday, the Cheesecake Truck will head to the Bronx and then Staten Island where it will celebrate with the Staten Island Ferry Hawks by hosting a cheesecake-eating competition. Proceeds from the competition will go to the Widows and Orphans Fund of the NYPD.

On Sunday, the Cheesecake Truck will conclude its tour in Brooklyn, spending the morning at Coney Island on Surf Avenue.

Patrons can follow the truck’s live location all weekend through Junior’s social media pages.

If you can’t catch the truck, Junior’s physical locations—in Brooklyn, Times Square, Midtown and Connecticut—are offering plain cheesecake slices for $5 as well as $5 off every small cheesecake, $6 off every medium cheesecake and $7 off every larger cheesecake.

Bon appetit!
