
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released the identity of a man they believe raped a 49-year-old woman last month.
Tony Kempsey, 58, is wanted for the attack. Police have not yet made any arrests.
Kempsey allegedly invited the woman onto his motorized scooter around 5 a.m. on April 30, according to officials.
He drove her to the corner of 48 Avenue and 72 Street in Elmhurst, where he punched her in the face, causing her to fall from the scooter and lose consciousness, authorities said. He allegedly raped her, and fled when she started to regain consciousness.
Emergency responders brough the victim to NYC Health + Hospital/ Elmhurst.
