NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – The NYPD released video Thursday of a suspect in this week's scooter-swinging assault on an on-duty MTA conductor at a Bronx subway station.
Surveillance images show the suspect roaming the Eastchester–Dyre Avenue station around the time of the attack at 12 a.m. Tuesday morning.
According to police, the 37-year-old conductor was on the platform when the man swung the Razor scooter at him, striking him in the face.
Video from inside a train car appears to show the suspect lifting the scooter moments before the attack.
EMS transported the victim to Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital, where he was in stable condition, with pain and swelling to his face and hand.
