NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – The NYPD is seeking a man who choked a 12-year-old girl and threw her into a metal fence at a Brooklyn subway station on Wednesday.
At 9:05 p.m. on Dec. 13, the 12-year-old victim was waiting on the northbound L platform in the New Lots subway station when a stranger approached her and began yelling at her, police said.
Officials said the assailant then grabbed the girl by the neck and threw her into a metal fence.
The victim sustained minor injuries and was taken to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center by private means for treatment, police said.
The attacker fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
The suspect was last seen wearing eyeglasses, a blue jacket with a white stripe and black jeans, as depicted in an image provided by the NYPD.
