NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A former aide to Gov. Andrew Cuomo who was the first woman to publicly accuse him of sexual harassment said in a new interview that the governor made a crude joke about what he would do to her if he were a dog.

In a New Yorker interview with Ronan Farrow published Thursday, Lindsey Boylan, 36, said that Cuomo made the joke after a meeting at the governor's mansion in 2018.

As Cuomo and Boylan were leaving the meeting, the governor's Siberian-Shepherd-Malamute mix named Captain jumped up on her, Boylan said.

Cuomo then joked that he would try to "mount" her too if he were a dog, according to Boylan, who told Farrow that she did not respond.

"I remember being grossed out but also, like, what a dumb third-grade thing to say," Boylan said. "I just shrugged it off."

Last month, Boylan said Cuomo made inappropriate comments on her appearance, once kissed her on the lips at the end of a meeting and suggested they "play strip poker" during a flight.

Cuomo has previously denied Boylan's allegations of inappropriate behavior.

According to the New Yorker, a spokesperson for the governor declined to specifically comment on the alleged joke, instead reiterating Cuomo's denial that he had acted inappropriately with Boylan.

Ronan Farrow's previous exposés helped lead to the downfall of Harvey Weinstein and Les Moonves.
