NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A bicyclist died after he collided with an MTA bus in Brooklyn on Wednesday night, police said.

Adrian De Los Santos, 33, was riding an e-bike on Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg around 7:30 p.m. when he collided into a bus driving beside him near Graham Avenue, according to police.

De Los Santos was found lying on the roadway with trauma to his leg and torso. He was rushed by EMS to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said it's unclear what caused the cyclist to collide with the side of the bus. The 50-year-old operator of the bus stayed at the scene after the crash.

No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing.

A witness told the Daily News that De Los Santos told him before the crash that he was heading to work at a food truck.

"We stopped to talk right there at the light, he was going to work in Greenpoint at a food truck. It's crazy, he was just going to work," the witness said.
