NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Dozens of people were injured Thursday morning when two NJ Transit buses collided at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Midtown, officials said.
Each bus was carrying 35 passengers when the vehicles crashed just after 8:45 a.m. at West 41st Street and Dyer Avenue, sources told 1010 WINS.
At least 29 people were injured in the crash, according to the FDNY, which described the injuries as minor.
Some of the injured were taken to area hospitals.
An investigation into the crash was ongoing, but it appears one bus may have rear-ended another on a ramp to the bus terminal.
Just weeks ago on July 2, 12 people were injured when one coach bus rear-ended another on a Port Authority ramp at West 40th Street and Ninth Avenue. Most of the injuries were minor.
