NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — A teen girl is in critical condition when she was struck by a car while riding a skateboard in Brooklyn on Thursday morning, the NYPD said.
It happened at about 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of West 10th Street and Neptune Avenue in Bensonhurst.
According to police, the 15-year-old girl was struck as a 43-year-old woman was making a right turn.
The teen was rushed to NYU Langone Health Medical Center where she was listed in critical condition.
The driver remained at the scene and has not yet been charged.
An investigation remains ongoing.
