'Drunk' man stabs passenger on Bronx 6 train during dispute, suspect at large

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man who witnesses said seemed drunk stabbed a passenger on a southbound 6 train in the Bronx Saturday night, according to police.

He stabbed a 34-year-old man in the torso with a knife near the Parkchester subway station around 8:24 p.m. during an argument, officials said.

Emergency responders rushed the victim to Jacobi Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect — a man in his 20s, according to authorities— fled, and police have not yet made any arrests.

An investigation into the stabbing is ongoing.
