VIDEO: Duo robs 2 Staten Island T-Mobile stores of over $10K in phones

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for two men who allegedly robbed two Staten Island T-Mobile stores in a weekend, making away with over $10,000 worth of cell phones.

The first robbery occurred on Feb. 21 at a T-Mobile store on Forest Avenue at 5 p.m. The two thieves are seen on surveillance footage removing 7 Samsung and Apple phones, valued at about $7,030, from the display area, police said. The men then fled the store.

The next day, the duo struck again at a T-Mobile store on Barrett Avenue just before 7 p.m. The men removed about 5 iPhone floor models from the store’s display worth about $4,330, police said. They then fled the store in a white SUV with all tinted windows.

No injuries were reported in either incident.

The individuals being sought are described as both approximately 20-30 years of age.
