NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Former NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea has landed a new job with the real estate company that runs the Hudson Yards, the company announced Friday.
Related Companies announced that Shea, 52, would be the president of commercial property management.

The role was created for the former police commissioner and will allow him to manage operations for commercial and mixed-use properties.
“Property management is a new challenge, and one that I’m looking forward to leveraging my management skills and data-driven strategies to deliver the best experience for tenants, customers and visitors to our properties,” Shea said in a statement to the Commercial Observer.
Shea worked with the NYPD for more than 30 years and stepped down as police commissioner on Dec. 31 after two years.
