NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released a photo of a would-be robber who shot at a Bronx deli employee over the weekend, authorities said Monday as they released an image of the suspect.
At approximately 2 p.m., the suspect entered a deli located at 101 East 198th St. and presented a firearm while threatening a 44-year-old employee, officials said.
The worker attempted to struggle with the gunman, causing him to discharge one round in the victim's direction before fleeing the scene.
The victim was not injured.
