NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for two suspects who posed as deliverymen and duct-taped their victims in a Queens home invasion robbery earlier this month, authorities said Thursday.
At approximately 9:22 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8, a 22-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man were in the vicinity of Crescent Street and 43rd Avenue in Hunters Point, when the two suspects posing as delivery men rang their doorbell, officials said.
When they opened the door, the suspects pushed their way inside, displayed a firearm and duct-taped the victims' mouths, arms, and legs.
The suspects then took approximately $70,000 worth of items, including a Rolex watch and cash, before fleeing on foot to parts unknown.
Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
