NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – An FDNY firefighter was arrested in Queens on sex abuse, assault and other charges, police said Saturday.
James P. Kennedy, 36, was off duty when he was arrested in the 111th Precinct in Bayside on Friday evening, according to police.
He was charged with sexual abuse, assault, unlawful imprisonment and harassment, police said.
An NYPD spokeswoman told the New York Post that the arrest followed an incident between Kennedy and his girlfriend.
"She didn't want to get intimate and he did and that's how it started," the spokeswoman said.
