NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A fire at Bryant Park's holiday market sent a cloud of smoke billowing over Midtown Manhattan on Friday morning—days after a fire destroyed vendor booths at another holiday market in the city.

Friday's fire erupted around 9 a.m. and destroyed at least two wood-framed kiosks, the FDNY said.

The cause of the fire wasn't immediately clear, but no injuries were reported.

The park's Winter Village is running through Jan. 5 and was scheduled to open at 11 a.m. Friday. Video shows the fire engulfing a structure in the market area of the village.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Bryant Park said: “We are grateful for the FDNY’s quick response to the incident that occurred earlier today. The Rink and The Lodge are currently open. Most of The Holiday Shops have reopened, and we expect all the Holiday Shops that were not affected by the fire to reopen later today."

The flames sent smoke billowing over Midtown, Citizen App video shows. The smoke was thick enough to be visible across the boroughs, according to photos from Brooklyn and Queens.

Earlier this month, a fire at the holiday market in Herald Square injured a firefighter and destroyed 18 vendor stalls. Investigators later determined an electrical issue caused that fire.
