NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for two men in connection to a violent robbery that occurred in Midtown last month.
At approximately 2:45 a.m., on January 2, a 43-year old food delivery man was making a delivery at the intersection of 7th Avenue and West 54th Street, when the two suspects approached him, authorities said.
According to officials, the two unidentified men began to punch and kick the victim and forcibly removed his phone and wallet, which contained approximately $300 cash.
The suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The victim sustained fractured ribs and traveled by private means to an area hospital for treatment, police said.
