NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a gunman wanted for striking a food delivery person during a group dispute earlier this week in Brooklyn.
At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Monday, September 19, a large group of suspects were involved in a verbal dispute in front of 25 Thornton Street in East Williamsburg.
One person in the group displayed a firearm and discharged it approximately two times.
An uninvolved 35-year-old man working as a food delivery man was struck in the right leg as a result, the NYPD said.
The group dispersed and the suspect that discharged the firearm fled westbound on Morris Avenue, officials said.
The gunman was last seen travelling on Whipple Street.
The victim was transported by private means to NYC Health and Hospitals/Woodhull in stable condition.
