NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa are just a bit over two months away, so now is the time for gift-givers on the hunt for the latest in gaming to begin perusing this season's latest and greatest.
Enter Nintendo, which recently held its invite-only "Holiday Tour," which was billed as "an immersive holiday experience exploring the characters and worlds of Nintendo" -- and WINS' Matt Weller and Julie Martin were there!
"This holiday season, Nintendo has something for everyone, whether you’re looking for gifts for Mushroom Kingdom fans, cozy gamers, high score chasers, or the next hero of Hyrule," the gaming company said in a news release.
Weller and Martin tried their hand at "Princess Peach: Showtime!," "Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD," "Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition" and "Little Kitty, Big City" -- plus they had a preview of upcoming games "The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom" (launching Sept. 26), "SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS" (launching Oct. 25), "Super Mario Party Jamboree" (launching Oct. 17), "LEGO Horizon Adventures" (launching Nov. 14) "MySims Cozy Bundle" (launching Nov. 19), "Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer" (launching Dec. 5), And they gave rave reviews for all!
