NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An NYPD police car responding to a 911 call struck an 11-year-old girl Tuesday evening in Brooklyn, authorities said.
The crash happened around 6:45 p.m. at the corner of Stillwell Avenue and Highlawn Avenue in Gravesend, police said.
The police vehicle then collided into an unoccupied parked van.
The girl was transported to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition to be treated for minor injuries, officials said.
The accident is under investigation.
