NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 13-year-old girl was arrested in connection with a caught-on-camera robbery this week that left a 76-year-old woman with a broken hip in her Bronx apartment lobby, police said Wednesday.
The girl, who has not been identified because of her age, faces charges of assault and robbery in Sunday morning's attack in Pelham Bay.
The NYPD released disturbing surveillance video Monday showing the victim trying to close the door on three suspects as they attempt to force their way into her building near Roberts and Hobart avenues around 12:30 a.m.
The thieves eventually pushed their way into the lobby, where one of them pulled the victim by her hair, police said. A second suspect then grabbed her purse and forcibly swung her around, causing her to fall to the ground, video shows.
The victim was taken to Jacobi Medical Center with a fractured hip.

The victim's son told WNBC that his mother goes dancing at a bar about once a month and had been out the night she was attacked. Now she may have to use a walker for the rest of her life, he said, calling what happened "shocking and heartbreaking."
The 13-year-old girl who's in custody is believed to be the "main aggressor" in the attack, according to multiple reports. She'll be charged as a juvenile.

Two other suspects seen in the video are still being sought by police.
It's unclear if police have recovered the victim's purse, which they said contained $50, a wallet, a debit card and insurance cards.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
