NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are investigating a shooting outside a NYCHA housing complex in Harlem that injured a 15-year-old girl Wednesday night.
It happened at approximately 8:20 p.m. at the Hamilton Houses on Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd. near West 142nd Street, officials said
The girl was shot in the right thigh. She ran to West 130rd Street and St. Nicholas Avenue to get help after being struck, the Daily News reported.
EMS transported her to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition.
It is unclear if the teen was the intended target.
There have been no arrests made and an investigation remains ongoing.
