NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 2-year-old girl was hospitalized after falling from a second-story window of a home in Brooklyn on Monday morning, authorities said.
The incident occurred around 8 a.m. at 1527 E. 2nd St. in Midwood. According to police, the toddler fell from a window of the private residence and suffered critical injuries.
EMS transported the child to Maimonides Medical Center, where she was listed in critical condition and underwent surgery.
The circumstances surrounding the fall remain unclear and an investigation is ongoing.
