NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for four suspects who shot an 11-year-old girl and her family with BB guns in the Bronx early Wednesday.
At around 1 a.m., the girl and her family were exiting their car on Southern Boulevard and Aldus Street in Foxhurst when the girl was hit in the knee with a BB pellet, while her mom was struck in the back.
The girl's dad was struck in the knee and her older sister was struck in the hand, authorities said.
The 11-year-old was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Her family suffered some bruising.
The suspects fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan, the NYPD said.
At approximately 5:18 p.m. on Tuesday a 9-year-old girl was was sitting on a bench with her grandmother in front of 180 Powell Street in Brownsville when she was grazed on the right side of her head by a BB gun pellet, officials said.
According to officials, the gun was likely fired from an upstairs window.
There have been no descriptions of a suspect and no arrests have been made.
