NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Thursday arrested the man known as the "Park Slope Prowler" accused of groping women in a string of incidents in Brooklyn, authorities said.

William Nuesi, 23, was charged with forcible touching and harassment, the NYPD announced Friday.

Nuesi has been linked to at least four attacks on women linked to him since June, all within a block of Prospect Park.

In every incident, he allegedly snuck up behind a woman, usually at night, and grabs her buttocks before fleeing, police said.

The latest assault happened around 1 a.m. on Aug. 14, when a 34-year-old woman was targeted at 5th Street and Prospect Park West.

Just three hours earlier, a 32-year-old woman was attacked at the same intersection, police said.

Last week, police released new video showing Nuesi smiling as he walked down a sidewalk around the time of an alleged attack.
