Group of men in ski masks beat, stab man in Riverside Park

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are investigating after a group of men in ski masks beat and stabbed a man in Riverside Park early Wednesday morning.

According to officials, at about 1:10 a.m. the 32-year-old man was in the park with friends near 665 W 143rd St. when a group of 15-20 men with ski masks approached him and began arguing with him and then beat him up.

The victim told police one man stabbed him with an unknown object in the right torso when the dispute escalated into a fight.

The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition.

The suspects fled the location on bikes south on Riverside Drive, authorities said.


The incident remains under investigation.
