NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A group of assailants threatened a man with a gun, punched him and stole his cell phone in an attack that was caught on surveillance video in Brooklyn, the NYPD said Wednesday.
The 26-year-old man was in front of a building on Graham Avenue, near Varet Street, in Williamsburg around 12:45 p.m. on April 20 when he got into a dispute with another man, police said.
Not long after the dispute, the man returned with four other men, one of whom punched the 26-year-old in the face and stole his iPhone, the NYPD said.
Another man threatened the 26-year-old with a gun, police said. The group fled south on Graham Avenue after the attack, according to police.
The 26-year-old was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull, where he was treated for a cut, bruising and swelling to his face, police said.
