NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a group of thieves who they say stole a bag containing $900,000 worth of jewelry from a woman's car in Manhattan.
The theft happened around 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, in front of 124 W. 19th St. in Chelsea, police said.

A 60-year-old vendor was loading her vehicle after displaying her merchandise at Metropolitan Pavilion when a man approached the vehicle and swiped a duffle bag from the backseat, according to police.
The bag contained jewelry valued at $900,000, police said.

The man fled the scene with a woman and another man, who police said had been observing the victim inside of the location.
The three were last seen in a 2011 gold and silver Subaru Forester on Seventh Avenue, police said.
