
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD on Tuesday released images of a group of suspects sought in the violent robbery of a man in Queens earlier this month, authorities said.
Just before 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19, a 47-year-old man was walking in the vicinity of 55th Avenue and 111th Street in Rego Park when he was approached by the suspects, officials said.
According to police, the suspects knocked the victim to the ground and kicked him multiple times before stealing his cellphone and wallet from his pockets.
The suspects fled the location on foot in an unknown direction.
The victim transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospital/Queens in stable condition.
